A little slice of paradise...in a glass

Our good friend and fellow GSE'er, Tiago, gave us a tour of Cooperative Garibaldi...followed by wine and espumante (sparking wine) tasting. Yummy!

We toured Tramontina in the afternoon. This factory produces cutlery. Tramontina is the most well-known brand for cutlery (as well as other products).

Our tour ended with a stop at the local Volunteer Firemen of Garibaldi, where we had the opportunity to peek inside the ambulances and meet the local bombeiros.

Since we leave for our next city on Friday, June 4, we had our despididas dinner at a pizzeria. Pizzas here are not like those in the states! It was sad to leave but we had many fond and funny memories to take with us.

Sounds like everyone is having a great time. Looks like your trip is coming to an end. Can't wait to see everyone. But I know you will all miss Brazil.
